Merits of Offering Lamp as described in Sutras:
1. Clear and beautiful eyes, good looks and radiance, excellent health, and long life.
2. Mindfulness of benevolence, understanding right and wrong, and the harmony of theory and practice.
3. Relationships of loving kindness, an abundance of wealth and resources, and success in all endeavors.
4. Birth into noble families with generations of merit and fortune, and fulfillment of all wishes.
The bright lamp symbolizes wisdom and brilliance, and is one of the important offerings of Buddhist offerings. Lighting a lamp illuminates our lives and the lives of others and clears our minds of ignorance. Therefore, it increases wisdom and merit. As the saying goes: "A bright lamp can illuminate the darkness of thousands of years; wisdom can illuminate the ignorance of thousands of years." 2. Thinking of benevolence, knowing right from wrong, consistent with reason and action.
3. People are kind and loving, wealth is abundant, and career is successful.
